About Russell

As most of you will know, Russell is the Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Week and the Festival of Marketing – the UK’s leading publication and flagship event for marketing. His background in reporting and editorial first lead to a reporting role at the magazine more than 15 years ago, followed by the News Editor and Editor-in-Chief roles.  

As Editor-in-Chief, Russell is responsible for the content strategy of both Marketing Week and the Festival of Marketing brands across several platforms. He is a trusted authority on marketing issues, regularly hosting podcasts – including ‘Marketing Week Meets' and ‘Marketing that Matters’ – delivering keynote speeches and appearing on panels at many industry events. 

Accolades include the British Society of Magazine Editors’ ‘New Editor of the Year Award’ and PPA Digital Awards’ ‘Brand of the Year’. Just two incredible achievements among many others.
