Who we are 

Suzie Walker Executive Search Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06998376) with a registered office at Meryll House, 57 Worcester Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 7DN.  

When you use our services, you’ll share some information with us. We want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices we give you to control, access and update your information. For the purposes of data protection legislation, we are the data controller of your personal data. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office in the UK with reference number Z1928810.

The personal information we collect and use 

Information collected by us: 

In order to provide the best possible employment opportunities that are tailored to you, we need to process certain information about you. We only ask for details that we need, such as your name, contact details, salary package details and CV information. On occasions this may also include special category data such as details of criminal convictions. We encourage you not to provide us with any personal data or special category data which we do not ask for. 

How we use your personal information: 

We use your information in a number of different ways. The table below sets this out in detail, showing what we do, and why we do it.

Who we share your personal information with:

We share your data with trusted third parties who help us provide certain aspects of our services, including businesses who provide technology services such as hosting for our servers and software for our client relationship management. We also collect marketing data through Google Analytics, a tracking and analytics supplier that help us improve our marketing campaigns. All information provided to Google Analytics is non-identifying. For further information please see the Cookies section below.

How long your personal information will be kept: 

We will hold on to your information for as long as is needed to be able to provide the services to you. 

If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, or until it is no longer needed to provide the services to you.  

Transfer of your information out of the EEA 

We may transfer your personal information to the USA which is where our Cloud based service providers’ data centres are located. 

Any transfer of your personal information will be subject to a European Commission approved contract as permitted under Article 46(5) of the General Data Protection Regulation that are designed to help safeguard your privacy rights.

We will not otherwise transfer your personal data outside of EEA or to any organisation (or subordinate bodies) governed by public international law or which is set up under any agreement between two or more countries. 

Control over your information 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of important rights available to you for free. In summary, those include rights to: 

  • be informed about how your personal information is being used (hopefully this privacy policy explains it all) 

  • access the personal information we hold about you 

  • request that we port elements of your data to another service provider 

  • request us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold 

  • request the erasure of personal information concerning you in certain situations 

  • receive the personal information concerning you which you have provided to us, in a structured format  

  • stop any direct marketing which you can do through the unsubscribe links at the bottom of emails 

  • object to decisions being taken by automated means concerning you or significantly affect you

Keeping your personal information secure 

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. 

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

Cookies 

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are pieces of code that allow small amounts of information to be passed from your internet browser to our web server. We use third party cookies, serving several purposes. All data passed by cookies is anonymous and will never contain your name, address, telephone number or payment details. 

We use Google Analytics to help us measure how users interact with our website content. As a user navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides us with JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to "remember" what a user has done on previous pages / interactions with the website.  

 The Google Analytics cookies we use are as follows: 

  • _ga used to distinguish users - expires after 2 years 

  • _gat used to throttle request rate - expires after 1 minute 

  • _gid used to distinguish users - expires after 24 hours

How to complain 

We hope that we can resolve any query or concern you raise about our use of your information.
